Purchasing a gift card


Q: Where can I purchase a Morton’s The Steakhouse gift card or gift item?
A: Morton’s The Steakhouse gift cards can be purchased online, in person at any of our Morton’s locations (gift items at our restaurants are in limited availability) or by phone at (800)706-4743.


Q: May I include a message with my gift card or gift item?
A: Yes, you will be prompted during the order process to include a personalized message which will be written on the gift card carrier. If you have purchased a retail item, a note will be included with your personalized message.


Q: How will I receive confirmation of my online order?
A: You will be prompted to include your email address during the order process. Once your order has been placed, you will be sent a copy of your order and tracking information, if applicable.


Q: May I ship the gift card or gift item directly to my recipient?
A: Yes – you will have the option during the order process to ship the gift card to yourself or your recipient.


Q: How is the gift card or gift item packaged?
A:  Each Morton’s gift card is packaged in a gift card carrier and envelope with the classic Morton’s logo. You may include you own message on the carrier once received or have one included during the order process if you are shipping the card directly to the recipient. Gift items are carefully packaged and will include your personalized message, if applicable.


Q: I am interested in purchasing gift cards in bulk quantities.  What discount programs do you offer?

Q: Can I return or exchange my gift card or gift item?
A: Gift cards are non-refundable except in states where required by law. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.


Retail Items: Unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund.  Returned items will be inspected and a refund will not be issued if the item is not in resellable condition.  If the return is a result of our error, the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges will be refunded.


If the return is not a result of our error and your items are returned, unused within 30 days of delivery, we will refund full cost of the merchandise minus the original shipping charge, return shipping fees and a $5.00 restocking fee.


Expect to receive the refund within two weeks after your return is received by the Morton's Store processing center.  This includes conservative estimates of the time required for the inspection at our returns facility and processing from your bank or credit card company.  You will receive your refund via the form of payment that you used at the time of purchase.


Exchanges: Unused items may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery.  Returned items will be inspected and only exchanged if new and unworn.  You will be responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement item as well as a $5.00 restocking fee for the returned item.


 

Gift Card and Gift Item Delivery


Q: What are my delivery/shipment options?
A: Gift cards may be delivered via USPS 1st Class Mail – there is a $3 shipping and processing fee for this method. Gift cards shipped via USPS 1st class mail cannot be tracked and will take approximately 5-7 business days to arrive.
Gift cards and gift items can also be shipped via FedEx Ground, 2-Day Delivery, Standard Overnight and International Delivery for an additional cost, based on your delivery address & gift item weight.


Q: Is there a signature required for delivery sent via FedEx?
A: No, a signature is not required. Your package will be left at the front door or with the reception person at your place of business.


Q: Will FedEx deliver to a P.O. Box?
A: No, unfortunately FedEx will not deliver to a P.O. Box.  You will need to ship the gift card/gift item to a physical mailing address.


Q: When will my gift card/gift items arrive?
A: Gift card and gift item orders are processed & shipped Monday-Friday until 2:00pm CST. Any orders placed after 2:00pm CST will be processed & shipped the following business day. Please note:  if you place an order for FedEx Standard Overnight delivery after 2pm CST on Thursday or any time on Friday, your package will be delivered on the next available business day (Monday – excluding holidays).


USPS 1st Class Mail – approximately 5-7 business days
FedEx Ground - 1-5 business days
FedEx 2-Day – 2nd business day after the order has shipped
FedEx Standard Overnight – the following business day after 3:00pm


Note: FedEx will not make delivery attempts on Saturday, Sunday or on Holidays. Morton's The Steakhouse is not responsible for shipping delays due to courier error or inclement weather.


Q: I have not received my online order, what do I do?
A: Please call our fulfillment center at (800)706-4743 or Email us.  If needed, we can cancel the original gift card that was shipped and ship a replacement using the same delivery method as your original order. If you would like to have it reshipped via another delivery method, the additional cost will be your responsibility.


Using your Morton’s The Steakhouse Gift Card


Q: Where may I use my Morton’s The Steakhouse gift card?
A: Our gift cards may be used at any of our US & International Morton’s locations (excluding Mexico), as well as Bertolini’s & Trevi. Gift cards may also be used to purchase Morton’s The Steakhouse retail gift items by calling (866)662-2677 or by visiting one of our Morton’s restaurant locations (restaurants carry limited gift items).


Q: Can Morton’s The Steakhouse gift cards be used for tax & gratuity?
A: Yes, you may apply your gift card to the entire check including food, beverage, tax & gratuity.


Q: Can I use more than one gift card to pay for my check?
A: Yes, you may use as many gift cards as you wish to pay for your meal.


Q: What will happen if I do not use the full amount of the gift card in one visit?
A: The balance will remain on your gift card until your next visit and until the full value has been depleted.


Q: Can I re-load my gift card?
A: Yes, please visit your local Morton’s The Steakhouse restaurant to add value or call our corporate office at (866)662-2677 for assistance.


Q: Do gift cards expire?
A: Purchased gift cards do not expire. We do not charge a maintenance or non-usage fee to your gift card. We do issue promotional and business trade gift cards that do expire, however the expiration will be noted on the gift card. If you have any questions as to what type of gift card you have, please contact our corporate office at (866)662-2677 for assistance.


Q: I have a Holiday Bonus gift card - does it expire?
A:  The Holiday Bonus gift card is a promotional item and is only valid January 2, 2010 - March 31, 2010. The dates in which the gift card is valid are printed on both the gift card as well as the gift card carrier. Holiday Bonus cards cannot be extended.


Q: May I use the Holiday Bonus gift card on multiple visits?
A: Unlike our regular gift cards, the Holiday Bonus gift card is valid for one time use only.


Q: Can my Morton’s The Steakhouse gift card be replaced if lost or stolen?
A: Unfortunately Morton’s The Steakhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. However, if you have a copy of your gift card purchase receipt, please contact our corporate office at (866)662-2677 for assistance.
